Jamie Colby
Colby, National News Anchor and Correspondent for Fox News has worked there since July of 2003. Before joining FOX News Channel, Colby was a correspondent for CNN and worked as an anchor and reporter for CBS News which included anchors filling in for CBS's Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is an attorney admitted to legally practice within New York, California, Florida and Florida and the District of Columbia. In 2002 she was awarded the Edward R.Murrow National Award for her coverage of the 9/11 attacks. In addition, she was awarded the Gracie Award for investigative journalism in 2000 and in 2001, the Clarion Award by the Association for Women in Communications. Television Week also named her one of the "Rising News Star To Follow". Colby has also been an attorney in private law practice for a decade. The law firm she joined began through a Hollywood entertainment business that took her to The Tonight Show. Colby worked alongside Johnny Carson at the age of 22 both during his contract renewal and divorce from NBC. Colby is the host and reporter for Strange Inheritance on Fox Business, covering quirky or unforeseen legacy left by family or friends.
