Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born in Dublin 1966 to a privileged family. She is the youngest child of three. While in a convent, she discovered an appreciation for arts. She later studied at in the National College of Fine Arts in Dublin however, she left as she did not have the passion and decided to have a break to think about it. When she was with her friends at a cafe an artist approached her and inquired if she would like to become a model. She said yes, believing that she'd be able to utilize the cash to purchase pocket cash. It was soon clear modeling exciting and lucrative. Modeling agreements led to commercials, and she travelled the globe. A casting director was impressed by her modeling talent and encouraged her to attempt acting. After she turned 19 A casting director took her to London which she landed an audition to star in A View to a Kill, the most recent James Bond film. The acting was her love which led her to pursue a career as an actor. The first film she appeared in was followed by a couple of TV dramas filmed in London and Dublin. Then, her breakthrough came in 1989 as she was cast as her role as the Aryan Seductress, Dr. Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Alison Alison Alison
